Marjorie Simon

"Form, color, texture, and function are my main concerns, but I also bring a strong conceptual or intellectual orientation to my work. Design elements often have a frankly anthropomorphic relationship, underscoring jewelry's primary referent to the body. Botanical and floral images have been part of jewelry and adornment from antiquity. Using vitreous enamel adds color and alchemy of glass on metal." - Marjorie Simon
